The exclusive patented Downey inverted
cover snap attaches anywhere along the channels
length, there is nothing to realign. The snap
is made of an indestructable self-lubricating
material that is guaranteed for the life of the
cover. |

The satin black aircraft quality anodized aluminum
frame blends in so it looks even with the cover
off. The Downey SST frame looks better and more
professional than bright aluminum, especially
on darker colors. |

Snap Channel Means Quick Cover Removal
The easy snap channel allows
for quick and complete cover removal with no
frame disassembly. The SST also allows for easy
access at the front of the bed, not possible
with roll up styles.

for trucks with tool boxes (exc. Silver Edition).

the measurement from the tool box to the outside
edge of the tailgate (closed position), we take
care of the rest.

Carbon
Fiber Tonneau Fabric
To replicate
the look of carbon fiber, the manufacturer
scanned an actual piece of it into a computer.
That image was then transferred to an embossing
wheel. The result is an image that duplicates
all of the reflective and woven qualities
of carbon fiber. Plus, this vinyl can stand
up to the toughest elements without leaking
or unraveling
Downey
tonneaus with the new fabric have all of the
features that have made the original Downey
SST soft tonneau an industry leader, including
cover snaps and locking channels that are
made using the latest in computer design and
composite technology. The patented inverted
cover snaps attach anywhere along the length
of the poly-carbonate channel, with no alignment
necessary. It is available for a nominal up
charge for Downey SST and LTD (exc. Silver
Edition) soft tonneaus.
