Designed for the Duramax Diesel

Tuning up your Duramax Diesel is simply done when you plug in the new Intimidator from BD into your OBD port. You can increase your power by:

55 RWHP / 110 lbs. torque!

80 RWHP / 200 lbs. torque!

100 RWHP / 205 lbs. torque!

Plus, a race-only level of 170 RWHP / 350 lbs. torque is built into each unit and can be unlocked with the purchase of an optional power code.

This unit does more than just give you power; it also removes the top-speed limit control, sets your odometer for correct road speed if you have oversize tires, plus, it reads and clears engine trouble codes.

You can also set the transmission to Quick learn the new power levels to smoothen out the transmission shifts.

Notes:
2004 Duramax owners: your truck has either the older LB7 engine or the newer LLY, which matters when ordering the Intimidator. You can identify your engine by looking at the VIN’s 8th digit. LB7s will have a 1; LLYs show a 2.

Standard BD Duramax Intimidator levels and their typical gains: level 1, 55hp 110lb./ft. of torque; level 2, 80hp 200 lb./ft. of torque; level 3, 100hp 205 lb./ft. of torque

Level 4, a race-only setting with 170hp and 350 lb./ft. of torque, is programmed into each Intimidator and unlocked for use after special code purchase from BD Diesel Performance
